REAL Youth
The REAL Youth Competition is a program created to motivate high school students with bold ideas. It is a space where young entrepreneurs and visionaries are encouraged to think intentionally and lead with values.
Why REAL Youth?
The REAL Youth Competition is not about perfection. It is about potential.
Participants are not required to already have a registered business. They are also not required to fully execute the idea they pitch.
REALive understands that being in high school does not set the expectation that the business or project presented must be honored long-term. Our goal is simple: to support the individual.
Whether funds are used to launch a venture, refine a concept, or further education, REALive trusts our youth to move forward with confidence.
How it Works
- All participants’ ideas, projects, or businesses must uphold the REAL (Respect, Education, Adventure, Local) values to honor sustainable development
- To submit a pitch, please do so during open application dates by email: owner@realivehawaii.com
- Any participant under the age of 18 will be required to have a parent or guardian complete a consent form
- Selected participants present their pitches in a private setting with judges and invited guests only. Any persons present will be required to sign NDAs and comply with good-faith rules to protect the participant and IP rights
- The community contributes directly to the participants they support or believe in
- Two awards are presented: The REAL Youth Winner and The REAL Community Winner
At the end of the competition, participants receive the funds raised on their behalf. REALive may also award additional grants, mentorship, or business credits to winners as part of the commitment to long-term empowerment.

Community Back Contributions are distributed to participants at the conclusion of the competition. While funds are intended for entrepreneurial or educational growth, final use is integrity-based as this program is designed to provide, not control.

When young individuals have the platform, the support, and the trust, they rise differently.
REAL Youth is about courage. It is about responsibility. It is about giving opportunity before someone “earns” permission to begin.
